Paintings of Decay

Paintings of Decay is a band from Fort Collins, Colorado.

It was founded by guitarist Max Pliskin in the Summer of 2023 when he was joined by Alex Merklein, Erik Christoffersen, and Noah Gonzales.

They quickly released their first album, Death Bloom, in May of 2024, followed by Sunday EP a few months later. Their early sound was characterized by Alternative Rock with elements of psychedelic, hardcore, punk and metal among others.

The band has gone through a few lineup changes and currently consists of Max Pliskin, Noah Gonzales, Clay Kauffman, and Jolo Robles

They are currently working on their second project, an ambitious undertaking which follows the story of Celquonious Clintt.
